We are weeks away from finally moving into our new home. Its crazy to think that all of this is happening.
Not long ago I never thought that starting a homestead would be something I’d ever be able to accomplish.
I grew up in a big city in California. My father always did his best to keep us in nature but for us, nature was an escape from all the hussle and bussle of they city.
As first time homesteaders, we aren’t quiet sure how we are going to do it but with the Gods and Goddesss on our side.
Growing up I never really knew any farmers. I had a very distinct uncle who I believe had a petting zoo but that’s about it.
When my husband and I got married I was brought into this whole new world of suitability. My husband’s grandmother owned an orchered where she grew all sorts of things. Things like lemons and oranges, but what she had the most of pecans and walnuts. I never even knew that peacans and walnuts grew on trees!
I have slowly been acquiring information on sustainable living and zero waste living. I have come to the point where I am tired of seeing all the waste that is happening in the world. How these animals are living revolting lives in high yeild farms.
I want to bring my family back to the basics. I don’t want technology taking over our lives. I’m not saying that I won’t use Amazon if I need to or going to the grocery store when my garden isn’t ready or if my local farmers market doesn’t have it.
Im tired of relying on TV to keep us entertained. I want to work with my hands and learn new skills and I want to take you along with me. I want to share my family and my life with you, so maybe I can teach you something.
I want this blog to be about day to day life of Pagan family starting their homestead. I want to show you how we bring magick in our lives. You can be whoever you want to be and I want to show you that it is possible.
Blessed be 🌒🌕🌘
